SpellVo, bağımsız bir geliştirici tarafından yapılan bir kelime oyunudur (“SpellVo”, “biz”). Bu politika, uygulamayı ve spellvo.app sitesini kullandığında hangi bilgilerin nerede işlendiğini anlatır. 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (KVKK) ve AB Genel Veri Koruma Tüzüğü (GDPR) kapsamında veri sorumlusu SpellVo’dur. 2. Cihazında saklananlar
Oyunu oynayabilmen için uygulama şunları telefonunun içinde, uygulamanın kendi depolama alanında saklar:
ayarlar: uygulama dili ve kelime dili, ses ve müzik, titreşim, renk körlüğü modu, bildirim tercihleri;
oyun ilerlemesi: en iyi skorların, Günün Yarışması sonuçları ve serin, can sayın, jokerlerin ve diğer eşyaların, Altın Patilerin, eğitimi görüp görmediğin, bitirdiğin oyun sayısı;
oynadığın meydan okumalar ve isteğe bağlı takma adın;
kelime listesinde bulunmayan tahminlerin (yalnızca cihazda; listeyi iyileştirmek için geliştirme sürümlerinde gösterilir);
teknik tercihler: cihazının animasyonları ne kadar akıcı çizdiğine göre seçilen performans seviyesi, değerlendirme isteğinin en son ne zaman gösterildiği.
Bu bilgiler bize gönderilmez ve biz onlara erişemeyiz. Uygulamayı kaldırdığında ya da telefonunun ayarlarından uygulamanın verilerini sildiğinde silinirler. Telefonunda Android yedeklemesi açıksa Android bu verileri Google hesabındaki yedeğine katabilir; bu yedek Google tarafından, senin hesap ayarlarına göre tutulur ve biz ona erişemeyiz.
Uygulama konum, rehber, kamera, mikrofon ya da dosyalarına erişim istemez. İnternet bağlantısını; reklamlar, satın almalar ve bağlantıları açmak için kullanır, oyunun kendisi çevrimdışı da çalışır.
3. Meydan okuma bağlantıları
“Arkadaşına meydan oku” bir bağlantı oluşturur (spellvo.app/c/…). Bağlantının içinde skorun, kelime dili, oyunun kelimelerini belirleyen bir sayı (tohum), kelime listesinin sürümü ve yazdıysan takma adın bulunur. Kelimelerin kendisi bulunmaz. Bağlantı, telefonunun paylaşım menüsünden seçtiğin uygulamayla (örneğin bir mesajlaşma uygulaması) gönderilir; bağlantıyı gören herkes takma adını ve skorunu görebilir. Takma ad isteğe bağlıdır; gerçek adını yazmak zorunda değilsin.
Bağlantının meydan okuma kısmı adresin “#” işaretinden sonraki bölümündedir; bağlantı açıldığında bu bölüm sunucuya gönderilmez, yalnızca cihazda okunur.
4. Bildirimler
Günlük hatırlatma ve “canların doldu” bildirimleri yerel bildirimlerdir: uygulama arka plana geçtiğinde telefonunda planlanır. Sunucu, anlık bildirim (push) servisi ya da bildirim kimliği kullanılmaz. İzni ilk açılışta istemeyiz; Ayarlar’dan ya da telefonunun ayarlarından istediğin zaman kapatabilirsin.
5. Paylaşma ve değerlendirme
Sonuç kartı telefonunda oluşturulur ve senin seçtiğin uygulamayla paylaşılır; o uygulamanın kendi gizlilik kuralları geçerlidir. Uygulama bazen Google Play’in uygulama içi değerlendirme penceresini gösterebilir. Bu pencereyi Google gösterir ve yazdığın değerlendirmeyi Google Play’de Google’ın politikalarına göre yayımlar; biz yalnızca Play Console’da herkese açık değerlendirmeleri görürüz.
Google Play, telefonunun ayarları izin veriyorsa uygulamanın çökme ve performans istatistiklerini (Android vitals) bizimle toplu olarak paylaşabilir; bu veriler seni tanımlamaz.
6. Reklamlar (Google AdMob)
Uygulama mağazada yayımlandığında ücretsiz kalabilmek için Google AdMob ile reklam gösterir: Altın Pati veya ödül kazanmak için isteğe bağlı izlediğin ödüllü reklamlar ve bazı oyunların sonunda, kurallarla sınırlanmış geçiş reklamları. AdMob, reklamları göstermek, ölçmek ve dolandırıcılığı önlemek için cihazından şunları toplayabilir: reklam kimliği (Android advertising ID) ve uygulama kümesi kimliği, IP adresi ve ondan çıkarılan yaklaşık konum, cihaz ve uygulama bilgileri, reklamlarla etkileşimlerin.
Kişiselleştirilmiş reklam yalnızca izninle. Avrupa Ekonomik Alanı, Birleşik Krallık ve İsviçre’de (ve yasanın gerektirdiği diğer yerlerde) uygulama, Google’ın izin aracı (User Messaging Platform) ile önce iznini sorar. Seçimini uygulamanın Ayarlar bölümünden istediğin zaman değiştirebilirsin. İzin vermezsen reklamlar kişiselleştirilmez ama yine de gösterilebilir. Reklam kimliğini telefonunun ayarlarından sıfırlayabilir ya da silebilirsin.
Uygulama içi satın almalar (örneğin Altın Pati paketleri) mağazada yayımlandıktan sonra Google Play Faturalandırma ile yapılır. Ödeme bilgilerini Google işler; biz kart bilgilerini hiç görmeyiz. Uygulama, satın aldığın ürünü sana verebilmek için Google Play’den satın alma onayını (ürün, sipariş numarası, satın alma jetonu) alır ve bunu cihazında işler. İadeler Google Play’in iade kurallarına tabidir.
8. Analitik
Uygulama ve site şu anda analitik, kullanım takibi ya da çökme raporlama aracı kullanmıyor. Bu değişirse bu bölümü, aracın adını ve topladığı bilgileri yazarak güncelleriz.
9. Site ve web meydan okuması
spellvo.app sitesi GitHub Pages’te barındırılır. GitHub, güvenlik amacıyla siteyi ziyaret edenlerin IP adreslerini kaydeder (GitHub Gizlilik Bildirimi). Sitede çerez, reklam ve analitik yoktur; yazı tipleri de sitemizden yüklenir, üçüncü taraf bir yazı tipi servisi kullanılmaz.
Bir meydan okuma bağlantısını tarayıcında açarsan oyun tarayıcında çalışır. Dil ve ses tercihlerin, oynadığın meydan okumalar ve takma adın tarayıcının yerel depolama alanında (localStorage) tutulur; bize gönderilmez. Site, seçtiğin dili de aynı şekilde hatırlar. Bunları tarayıcının site verilerini temizleyerek silebilirsin.
10. E-posta
Bize hello@spellvo.app adresinden yazarsan e-posta adresini ve mesajını yalnızca sana cevap vermek için kullanırız. Bu adres, alan adı sağlayıcımızın (Namecheap) e-posta yönlendirmesiyle kendi e-posta kutumuza iletilir. Yazışmaları, konu çözüldükten sonra gerekmedikçe saklamayız.
11. Çocuklar
SpellVo 13 yaşın altındaki çocuklara yönelik değildir ve bilerek 13 yaşından küçüklerden kişisel veri toplamayız. Ülkendeki dijital rıza yaşının altındaysan, reklam izinleri için bir ebeveyninin onayı gerekir. Bir çocuğun bize veri verdiğini düşünüyorsan bize yaz, sileriz.
12. Hukuki dayanak ve yurt dışına aktarım
Cihazında kalan veriler bize ulaşmaz. Bizim ya da iş ortaklarımızın işlediği veriler için dayanaklar şunlardır: kişiselleştirilmiş reklam için açık rızan (KVKK m. 5/1, GDPR m. 6/1-a); satın aldığın ürünü teslim etmek için sözleşmenin ifası (KVKK m. 5/2-c, GDPR m. 6/1-b); kişiselleştirilmemiş reklam, dolandırıcılığın önlenmesi, sitenin güvenliği ve e-postalarına cevap vermek için meşru menfaat (KVKK m. 5/2-f, GDPR m. 6/1-f).
Google ve GitHub verileri Türkiye ve AB dışında, örneğin ABD’de işleyebilir. Bu aktarımlar bu şirketlerin standart sözleşmeleri ve KVKK m. 9 ile GDPR’ın aktarım kuralları çerçevesinde yapılır.
13. Hakların (KVKK ve GDPR)
KVKK m. 11 ve GDPR kapsamında; verilerinin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme, bilgi isteme, düzeltilmesini ya da silinmesini isteme, işlemeye itiraz etme, verilerini taşıma, iznini geri çekme ve şikâyette bulunma hakların vardır (Türkiye’de Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu’na, AB’de kendi ülkenin denetim makamına). Verilerinin neredeyse tamamı yalnızca cihazında olduğu için çoğu hakkı doğrudan kullanabilirsin: uygulamanın verilerini silmek her şeyi siler. Reklam verileri için Google’ın araçlarını ve reklam kimliği ayarlarını kullanabilirsin. Diğer her istek için hello@spellvo.app adresine yaz; en geç 30 gün içinde cevap veririz.
14. Değişiklikler ve iletişim

Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 31, 2026 · This policy covers the SpellVo app (Android) and the spellvo.app website.
No accounts. We don’t ask for your name, email or phone number.
Your game data stays on your device. Your settings, scores and progress are stored only on your phone and are not sent to us. We run no server that collects game data.
Notifications are scheduled on the device. No server is involved in the reminders.
Ads and purchases go through Google (once the app is published): Google AdMob and Google Play Billing. Personalized ads only with your consent.
SpellVo is a word game made by an independent developer (“SpellVo”, “we”). This policy explains what information is handled where when you use the app and the spellvo.app website. SpellVo is the data controller under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Contact: hello@spellvo.app.
2. What stays on your device
So that you can play, the app keeps the following on your phone, in the app’s own storage:
settings: the app and word languages, sound and music, haptics, color blind mode, notification choices;
game progress: your best scores, Daily Challenge results and streak, lives, jokers and other items, Golden Paws, whether you have seen the tutorial, how many games you have finished;
the challenges you have played and your optional nickname;
guesses that were not in the word list (on the device only; shown in development builds to improve the list);
technical choices: the performance level picked from how smoothly your device draws the animations, and when the review prompt was last shown.
None of this is sent to us, and we cannot access it. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data in your phone’s settings. If Android backup is on for your phone, Android may include this data in the backup in your Google account; that backup is kept by Google under your account settings, and we cannot access it.
The app does not ask for your location, contacts, camera, microphone or files. It uses the internet for ads, purchases and opening links; the game itself also works offline.
3. Challenge links
“Challenge a friend” creates a link (spellvo.app/c/…). The link contains your score, the word language, a number (the seed) that picks the game’s words, the word list version and, if you typed one, your nickname. It does not contain the words themselves. You send the link with the app you choose from your phone’s share menu (a messaging app, for example), and anyone who sees the link can see your nickname and score. The nickname is optional; you don’t have to use your real name.
The challenge part of the link is after the “#” in the address. When the link is opened, that part is not sent to any server; it is read only on the device.
4. Notifications
The daily reminder and the “lives full” notification are local notifications: they are scheduled on your phone when the app goes to the background. No server, push service or notification token is used. We never ask for the permission on the first launch, and you can turn notifications off at any time in Settings or in your phone’s settings.
5. Sharing and reviews
The result card is made on your phone and shared with the app you choose; that app’s own privacy rules apply. The app may sometimes show Google Play’s in-app review dialog. Google shows it and publishes the review you write on Google Play under Google’s policies; we only see public reviews in the Play Console.
If your phone’s settings allow it, Google Play may share the app’s crash and performance statistics (Android vitals) with us in aggregate; this data does not identify you.
6. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Once the app is published, it shows ads with Google AdMob so it can stay free: rewarded ads you choose to watch for Golden Paws or other rewards, and interstitial ads at the end of some games, limited by rules. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, AdMob may collect from your device: the advertising ID (Android advertising ID) and app set ID, your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and your interactions with ads.
Personalized ads only with your consent. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland (and wherever else the law requires it), the app first asks for your consent with Google’s consent tool (User Messaging Platform). You can change your choice at any time in the app’s Settings. If you don’t consent, ads are not personalized but may still be shown. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s settings.
Once the app is published, in-app purchases (such as Golden Paw packs) are made with Google Play Billing. Google processes your payment details; we never see your card. To give you what you bought, the app receives the purchase confirmation from Google Play (the product, order number and purchase token) and handles it on your device. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policies.
8. Analytics
The app and the website currently use no analytics, usage tracking or crash reporting tools. If this changes, we will update this section with the tool’s name and what it collects.
9. The website and the web challenge
The spellvo.app website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes (GitHub Privacy Statement). The website has no cookies, ads or analytics; its fonts are served from our own site, with no third-party font service.
If you open a challenge link in your browser, the game runs in your browser. Your language and sound choices, the challenges you have played and your nickname are kept in the browser’s local storage (localStorage) and are not sent to us. The website remembers the language you picked the same way. You can delete all of this by clearing the site’s data in your browser.
10. Email
If you write to hello@spellvo.app, we use your email address and message only to answer you. The address is forwarded to our own mailbox by our domain provider’s (Namecheap’s) email forwarding. We don’t keep correspondence longer than needed once the matter is resolved.
11. Children
SpellVo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, a parent’s approval is needed for the ad consent. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.
12. Legal bases and international transfers
Data that stays on your device never reaches us. For the data we or our partners process, the legal bases are: your explicit consent for personalized ads (KVKK Art. 5(1), GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)); performance of a contract to deliver what you buy (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c), GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); legitimate interests for non-personalized ads, fraud prevention, the website’s security and answering your emails (KVKK Art. 5(2)(f), GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Google and GitHub may process data outside Turkey and the EU, for example in the United States. These transfers take place under these companies’ standard contracts and the transfer rules of KVKK Art. 9 and the GDPR.
13. Your rights (KVKK and GDPR)
Under KVKK Art. 11 and the GDPR you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to have it corrected or erased, to object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent and to complain (in Turkey to the Personal Data Protection Board, in the EU to your country’s supervisory authority). As almost all of your data is only on your device, you can use most of these rights directly: deleting the app’s data deletes everything. For advertising data, use Google’s tools and your advertising ID settings. For anything else, write to hello@spellvo.app; we answer within 30 days at the latest.
